A really nice watch at a very good price from First Class Watches. I had read and watched a lot of reviews of this watch and decided it was one that I wanted to own. Delivery was quick and I soon had the watch in my hands. On first impressions, I thought it seemed a little small and toy like, but I think that’s because I am used to wearing a big and heavy Oris Aquis diver.

I was not a fan of the leather strap that the Hamilton came on (it seems stiff, although I’m sure it would loosen up with time). So I removed it, and this is where this watch comes into its own. It is a ‘strap monster’, meaning that it looks great on a wide variety of different straps and seems to change its look depending on what strap it is on.

Much has been made of the change of movement from ETA 2824 to H10 (a modified ETA with longer power reserve). I can say that my version is very accurate out of the box as the longer power reserve is a bonus.

All in all, I think this is a great ‘serious’ watch that for an automatic from a well known Swiss brand, is a bit of a bargain. I would highly recommend, and buying from First Class Watches is a good idea - especially if you can use the 10% discount code.

An excellent watch with beautifully understated design, clean lines, and the huge benefits of solar power and radio control. No more battery changes at regular intervals and the associated environmental problems with battery disposal. The radio control works beautifully and it was easy to change the hour to GMT with a single push of one of the control buttons. The level of customer service from First Class Watches was superb, with an immediate response to my request for further information about the watch, and next day Saturday delivery. I would certainly use this company again.

This really is a gorgeous watch. The dial colour matching the steel case is stunning. Hacking and winding movement for under 200. Absolutely fantastic!

The watch itself has been on my want list for a couple of years. The balance of the design is perfect: just the right amount of everything without too much of anything. The watch has a reassuring heft without feeling heavy and you can just feel (as well as see) it is incredible quality for the price, as any number of online reviews will state. I tend to prefer 38 or 39mm watch cases for a classic look on my 7 inch wrist, however the 41mm case of the Sinn 104 sits perfectly owing to it’s moderate dial size and angled lugs. After a couple of days’ wear it’s gaining about 5s a day - pretty good for a “basic” movement and almost on par with my JLC Master Control (and Seiko Alpinist for that matter, which goes to show how little accuracy comes into the equation across price bands). The price was unbeatable - with a 10% discount, this came in well under the price these are sold for on Sinn’s own site, not to mention avoiding the tax implications of purchasing a post-Brexit watch from Europe (if that’s the case for watches, I haven’t actually checked). Next day delivery meant I had the watch on my wrist first thing in the morning the day after purchase. Based on this I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend First Class Watches to a friend - what else could you reasonably ask for?

In the process of replacing my Seiko divers due to burglary. Ordered a turtle from 1st class, arrived in a day within the 1 hour time slot.
